Katherine A. Jackson,V.M.D.
Dr. Jackson is a 1991 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She gained a wealth of experience during her first job as a mixed animal practitioner in rural New Hampshire. Dr. Jackson treated small and large animals even wildlife if the need arose. After four years, she moved to the Bethany area and gained almost 10 years experienced in emergency and critical care medicine and surgery while maintaining a strong involvement in general medicine by working as a local relief veterinarian. Dr. Jackson became the owner of Bethany Veterinary Hospital in 2009. She enjoys all aspects of her career, and especially enjoys the relationships that develop over the years while caring for her clients and their pets. In addition, she is a certified member of PennHIP.
Dr. Jackson can be seen running on many of the local trails and has recently began competing in sprint triathlons. She also enjoys spending time with her family doing anything outdoors. Her rescued pets include a dog, Bady, and cat, Roma. Dr. Jackson has been involved with sled dog medicine for many years which has provided her the unique opportunity to experience the great outdoors in extreme winter conditions while working with these amazing canine athletes.

Sarah Petrario,D.V.M.Veterinarian
Bethany Veterinary Hospital is thrilled to welcome Dr. Petrario as she becomes an integral part of our team. After a brief time as a high school science teacher, Dr. Petrario pursued her life-long dream of becoming a veterinarian. After graduating from St. George University Veterinary School (Grenada) in 2011, she spent her first years in CT before moving south for 7 years and then migrating back north again. As you may have guessed, Dr. Petrario has a soft spot for brachycephalic and bully breeds and enjoys educating clients so that their precious family members can enjoy a long, healthy life. Dr. Petrario has 4 dogs, 3 cats, 1 bird and 3 horses. She enjoys competing with her Morgan horses and eating sushi, just not at the same time!
